Welcome to HiTop Images! If you've
been here before, you may have noticed I
changed the name but you can also get here
using my name. To enhance the screen,

In 2005, l took a break from corporate tax
and flew to Alaska to start a self-funded
and greatly appreciated sabbatical. It was a
HUGE treat to take time off to travel, climb
mountains, go fly fishing for the first
time, and do new and fun projects, like
learn how to create a website. I also
digitized a selection of slides and
negatives, taken mostly while traveling with
my Nikon FE2 over the past 24 years. So I
decided to create a travel photography
website. After spending
a zillion hours spinning my wheels and
pulling out my hair, lo and behold it's
finally done and I still have some hair
left.
Since climbing Everest
in 2007, this
website's taken on another life and a new
"link" in mountain climbing.
Now that the sabbatical days are long gone,
I'm back in
the office, buried in
spreadsheets with really really small type
and making occasional changes and additions to this
website every second of my time off. I hope
these pages express my passion for
traveling, mountain climbing and
photographing everything in my path, and
that you enjoy viewing and
reading - that's what this is about.
Thanks for visiting!
