When we came back to Base Camp after our summit, we were greeted by Russ, his staff, and Team 1 Sherpas and climbers banging pots and pans. It was quite an emotional moment and probably the first time I felt any emotion during the summit push. This expedition tested me more than any experience in my life and although my determination went through the roof, I had many moments of self-doubt.
